We’re finally feeling some cooler temps down here & I’m excited to get to wear some long sleeves and pants … it’s the little things in life! I found some really great pieces from Banana Republic & the best part is that ALL of them are available in petite sizes. That’s just incredible!! IYKYK
I love pieces that can work in a variety of situations and give me multifunctional uses. All of these items fit the bill! I’m so excited to share these petite friendly (& mom friendly) fall outfits with you!
This plaid shirt is going to be in heavy rotation this fall and winter! The colors are perfect, it can be dressed up or down, and it’s so soft and comfortable. I dressed it up with these black pants and dressed it down with these blue jeans. You could totally tuck the shirt all the way in & add heels to the black pants! I even threw on my trusty jean jacket to change up the look a bit! You’ll see my platform tennis shoes in many of these photos; just keeping it real with that mom life 😉
PS I’m loving this new crossbody bag! The color is just perfect for fall and will even transition well into spring. It’s a great price point, too 😉 I also am in love with these booties that will also be on repeat this fall (for the few times I actually get to wear heels)! As soon as I put this outfit on, I knew it’d be a favorite!!!
Next up is this crazy soft shirt! It’s such a flattering fit and seriously so comfy. I dressed it up with these same black pants and then gave it a totally different vibe with my jean jacket and a hat. It’s a super basic top that is perfect that will carry you all the way through fall and even into spring 🙂 There are tons of other beautiful colors to choose from, too – in addition to white & black, they also have this gorgeous blue & the perfect heather gray. The black pants are a classic skinny style & fit great! Mine are petite so the length was perfect for me (also available in regular length). The fabric is just slightly stretchy enough to make sure they are comfortable, but they still keep that structured pant look.
I love these green pants (and available in some other great colors!) and this white top. And they pair so perfectly together to make a great outfit for work! This outfit definitely has a brighter feel to it, but this tan purse and these leopard shoes make it perfect for fall. The shirt has great structure and sleeves that have just the right amount of puff 😉 They also have it in a light khaki color which I got, but when I tried it on, it just wasn’t working for me. I thought it would be great for fall, but I honestly feel like it just washed me out. These green pants are very similar to the black pants above, but they are mid-rise. This white shirt was a little shorter than the rest, but you’d never know thanks to where these pants sit! They also have these gold pants in the same mid-rise style which I think I’m going to have to order because they seriously look so fun 🙂
Let’s chat more real quick about these leopard mules – I mean starry eyes!! I have been wearing them on repeat daily … they are so comfortable and easy to throw on! They go with pants, shorts, dresses, jumpsuits – literally everything! They liven up any plain outfit with that perfect hint of detail – a must have!!! Unfortunately, these exact ones are sold out, but I’ve linked similar ones here, here & here.
The green pants also look adorable with this chic sweater. This sweater has a square neck line and puff sleeves making it so on trend this season! I paired it with my wedges (similar) for a great work wear look. It also looks fantastic with jeans. It’s a soft material that is comfortable to wear all day and all night. I paired it with my leopard mules here (because I swear they are the perfect shoe right now!), but it would totally work with strappy black heels like these or OTK boots like these! Date night anyone?!? Maybe even girls’ night?!? HAHA
I was really shocked by how much I liked this black dress! When I first took it out of the packaging, I almost put it back without even trying it on. But I’m so glad I did! It looked great with sneakers, heels, and flats. This dress is definitely one that works great for both professional use and family pictures … how great is that?!?
In addition to these new jeans that I love, this super soft long sleeve top is a true wrap that is great for nursing – if you’re in that season of life 😉 The olive green color just screams fall and is flattering with its stretchy feel! And I’m going to be honest & admit that I really didn’t need a new pair of jeans, but these are just so great – super comfortable, high rise, perfect color, perfect length … how’s a girl supposed to pass that up?!?
