I always use this sale as a time to restock my essentials, test out new products I might be on the fence about or to buy that splurge item Iโ€™ve been dying to have! Below Iโ€™m sharing my essential must-haves & a few new items I’m excited to grab! I would call the majority of these items ‘basic,’ but they really are the ones that I find myself using over and over again ๐Ÿ˜‰

I’ve been using this setting powder for years now! It feels so light on & is perfect for combo skin. I do hate the “loose” factor, so I do not travel with it personally. This is only if I’m at home, not in a hurry and not worried about a little mess. I really do love it, though!

This is a newer product I’ve been wanting to snag. It’s not super expensive, especially for the amount of eyeshadow colors you’re getting; but I do have quite a few eyeshadow palettes already, so I don’t technically need it. But, now that it’s on sale, it’s the perfect time to grab it! ๐Ÿคฃ

If you’ve read a few of my other beauty posts, you know I love my MAC mascara. This mascara has been the next closest one that I’ve loved. In the past year or so, I’ve actually started using both of them! It doesn’t wash off as easily as my MAC, but it’s not too bad. This one really gives your lashes a thicker-looking appearance IMO {also available in mini for trial or travel}

This is another item that literally lasts me forever! My last one broke after dropping it a few too many times, so I had to finally throw it away. I’d been using it for so long, I decided to test out some new things. I was disappointed in all of them and am now back to using this!

This is another new item for me! I’ve used other Hourglass products in the past and have always been super impressed. The price is what usually deters me hence why I’ve been waiting to grab this one on sale. ‘Ethereal light’ is my fave from swatching in store & I can’t wait to get it in!

Another tried & true! This is not a typical ‘foundation’, but it is the absolute closest thing you’re going to get to foundation coverage without it really feeling like that full coverage foundation. I’ve purchased 4 tubes (they last awhile so that tells you how long I’ve been going back to it) instead of the typical ‘new product goes to die at the back of my drawer.’ ๐Ÿ™ˆ LOVE that it has SPF in it & I can even just add a pump to my face lotion and rub it in with my hands ๐Ÿ™Œ I talk about it more in this post here.

I’m purchasing my third one of these! I found this when I was looking for a more travel-friendly setting powder than the one I mentioned above. It has not disappointed & I even find I reach for it instead of the Laura Mercier sometimes. Most of Charlotte Tilbury’s products are great & this one is no exception. I use the lightest shade. There’s also a mini size available which is great for travel or if you want to try it out without spending the higher amount on the regular size.

This makeup remover has changed the game for me! I cannot imagine taking my makeup off without it & I love that I really don’t need any extra products to make it effective. SUPER excited for this travel set as we slowly get back to traveling this year! This one also makes a fantastic gift IMO but don’t wait to get it because it’s a Limited Edition.

I’m {almost} embarrassed to admit how reliant I’ve become on dry shampoo since becoming a mom. Not that I didn’t use it before having kids, but man, I feel like I can’t keep enough stock these days ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿคฃ I sincerely hope I’m not the only one out there. Any time, and I seriously mean any time, I can grab these at a discount, I do! I also keep the mini size stocked for travel.

welcome!

I'm Kimberly

and this is where it all began

As a wife, mom, and business owner, I started this blog as a passion project to share all the things Iโ€™ve learned throughout my journey.

To say itโ€™s been a crazy ride would be the understatement of the century, but we have loved sharing our adventures every step of the way.

Thatโ€™s why I always come back to where it started โ€“ this very blog โ€“ to continue sharing my tips, tricks, triumphs, and tribulations about all things motherhood, money, business, traveling, and everything in between.

I hope that by sharing these authentic, unfiltered experiences, you can feel seen and heard and learn to embrace the wonder in this messy (but oh, so wonderful) life.
